Inhalt

"Io e te" ist Niccolò Ammanitis neuester Roman. Er spielt im Rom des Jahres 2000. Der vierzehnjährige Lorenzo ist nicht, wie seine Eltern glauben, mit seinen Klassenkameraden in den Skiurlaub nach Cortina d'Ampezzo gefahren, sondern hat sich im Keller des Elternhauses in einem Abstellraum verkrochen, den er sich mit Essensvorräten, Lektüre und technischem Spielzeug wohnlich eingerichtet hat. Bald muss er sein unterirdisches Reich mit seiner drogensüchtigen Halbschwester Olivia teilen. Am Ende wird er aus seiner Höhle heraussteigen, der Versuch aber, Olivia von ihrer Sucht zu befreien, endet tragisch. - Der kurze Roman mit der Thematik des Erwachsenwerdens eignet sich hervorragend für den Italienischunterricht.
